Condover Hall for Y5 & Y6

Dear Parents/Carers,

I am pleased to be able to offer your child the opportunity to take part in a school trip to Condover Hall in Shropshire from Monday 21st May to Friday 25th May 2018.  The children will be staying in small 4-6 bedroom dormitories with ensuite facilities.

The trip will be led by Mair Hindmarsh/David Tennant and organised through JCA Adventure.

What’s it all about?

It’s about having fun while taking part in all sorts of adventurous activities designed to help your child learn and develop new skills and really shine as an individual and also as part of a team.  The children will be involved in a wide range of fun and exciting outdoor adventurous and team building activities such as high aerial trek, abseiling, kayaking, archery, fencing, laser maze, tunnelling, zip wire and many more! Condover Hall’s facilities include a dance studio, swimming pool and sports hall.

For many children this may be their first experience of staying away from home without you. JCA staff and the school staff will be on hand throughout to encourage, reassure and help, so that your child returns home even more confident and independent with a real sense of achievement.

We have chosen to book with JCA because not only do they offer excellent value, but they have extremely high standards of safety and staff training; ensuring that your child will be in safe hands at all times.

What does it cost?

The cost per person is £325, which can be paid in instalments prior to the trip.  The trip is slightly more expensive this year as we have chosen to go in the summer (hopefully warmer months) when the children can experience water sports but they also have the warmth and dryness of a proper dormitory.

The cost includes:

To reserve a place on the trip a £40 – non-refundable deposit should be paid to school by Friday 17th November.  Further instalments are due by the following dates:  Friday 19th January 2018 £60   Thursday 29th March £110 Friday 27th April £115.
